Personal information obtained during your consultation may be shared with other healthcare services involved in your treatment (e.g. pathology, radiology, hospitals, or other specialists).
We may contact you up to four times per year by email to request statistical information for the Bariatric Surgery Register, inform you about patient support group meetings, or provide other health-related updates.
Appointments may also be made through our website, and we may contact you by phone or email for follow-up. Our privacy and appointment cancellation policies are available at reception or upon request.
Your My Health Record may be accessed and updated with relevant information from your consultations.
If the patient is unable to consent, a guardian may sign on their behalf. In such cases, additional risk considerations apply. Please contact us directly if this applies.
