After Bariatric surgery the quality of your food is important as the quantity is so small.

We encourage you to use unprocessed natural foods as much as possible, limiting artificially sweetened and diet foods. It is also important to make choices low in both sugars and fats so as to avoid any possible Dumping Syndrome.

Learning how to read a food label will help you make healthy nutritious food choices and assist you to meet nutritional requirements after surgery. Remember some of the healthiest foods do not have labels. Go for wholefoods like: lean meat, fruit, vegetables, wholegrains or nuts as your first choice.
